In 2022, Hanwha Solutions Insight Division was launched through the integration of Hanwha’s City Development Division, the Korea Green Energy Solutions business from the Hanwha Qcells Division, and Hanwha Galleria’s premium lifestyle business, emerging as a specialized developer offering a diverse range of products. Hanwha Solutions Insight Division is further expanding its portfolio to include large-scale mixed-use development projects, industrial complexes, renewable energy, data centers, logistics centers, premium real estate, and lifestyle content. As a comprehensive, integrated solutions provider, the division plans to offer differentiated services from planning to development, execution, operation, and financing.
The Insight Division leverages the experience and knowledge gained from advanced industrial complexes and mixed-use development projects to offer regional development models that provide forward-looking convergence while helping to revitalize local economies. To date, we have developed six industrial complexes nationwide — including Daedeok Techno Valley — which together span approximately 13.5 million square meters and have generated employment opportunities for some 140,000 people. Currently, we are developing four additional industrial complexes in key areas of the Seoul metropolitan region: Anseong Techno Valley, Seoochang Techno Valley, a second Yongin Techno Valley, and Hwaseong H-Techno Valley. We are also undertaking large-scale urban development projects including the Ulsan KTX Station Area Complex and the Changwon Pungho-Jangcheon Urban Development, as well as a residential complex project in Mugeo-dong, Ulsan.

In addition, we are developing data centers, hydrogen fuel cells, and logistics centers to secure high-value, future-oriented business opportunities grounded in sustainability. To lay the foundation for long-term growth through portfolio diversification, we are promoting initiatives like hyper-scale data centers to respond to the explosive demand for generative AI, data centers tailored to the needs of cloud service providers (CSPs) and financial institutions, and fuel cell projects aimed at enhancing the value of industrial complexes and supporting the achievement of becoming carbon-free (CF100).
Jade Garden
The Insight Division also contributes to achieving RE100 by leveraging its EPC capabilities to deliver comprehensive clean energy solutions encompassing solar project development, investment, and construction. It has executed utility-scale EPC projects, including Korea’s largest floating solar power plant at Hapcheon Dam, as well as projects at Goheung Bay and the Taean Anmyeon Clean Energy Project. It is also leading ESG management through a diverse portfolio that includes the Seosan Sunlight Solar Power Generation Project, O&M, community participation-based business models, and rooftop solar development projects.
Building on our strengths as a luxury lifestyle platform developer focused on premium residential and recreational facilities, we renovated Jade Palace — a prestigious members-only golf club in Chuncheon — and Jade Garden after acquiring the transfer of business rights from Hanwha Hotels & Resorts in 2022. A private villa complex is scheduled to open in October 2025. In 2023, we opened a luxury condominium in Niseko, one of Japan’s premier ski resorts, and are actively pursuing a number of other premium development projects in Korea and beyond, including vacation homes, private villas, and branded residences.
Moving forward, the Insight Division will continue to focus its capabilities on establishing complex platforms grounded in development expertise, building sustainable business models through financial structuring, and expanding the luxury residential and hospitality brand MUWA to solidify its premium lifestyle offerings and secure mid-to long-term growth engines.
