Hanwha Q CELLS Opens New Office in France
[Aix-en-Provence, France / Thalheim, Germany, 20 March, 2014] German-headquartered solar specialist Hanwha Q CELLS announced that it is to strengthen its position in France's PV market by opening its first office in the country. Based in Aix-en-Provence near Marseille, the new office will be run by Philippe Pflieger, Hanwha Q CELLS' newly appointed Head of Sales France. Moreover will French PV customers continuously benefit from the "Made in EU" certificate, which the company has received for the second time, after again fully meeting all obligations of the French certification agency Certisolis.
Hanwha Q CELLS launches market offensive in France
"France is one of our European home-markets. We are actively pursuing solar opportunities to gain further market share", said Justin Lee, CCO at Hanwha Q CELLS. “According to our international market offensive in 2014 we are well positioned to develop solar power in France.” According to analysts at NPD Solarbuzz France will be one of the recovering European PV markets in this year next to Germany, U.K. and Italy. “Thanks to its high irradiation PV makes a lot of sense in France’s sunny regions. We build on our well established business with developers and wholesalers,” added Philippe Pflieger. “With a strengthened team and our new office we can now offer an on-site service throughout the entire country. In the next step, we will focus on long-term partnerships with installers in the whole country.”
“Made in EU” certificate: French customers can receive a bonus of up to ten percent
Hanwha Q CELLS again received the Certisolis “Made in EU” certificate in March 2014 for manufacturing solar cells and solar modules comprised entirely of European components. This enables French customers to receive a bonus of up to ten percent on the French feed-in tariff. The certificate also demonstrates that European customers can rely on Hanwha Q CELLS to engineer and manufacture high quality products in Germany and within the European Union.
Hanwha Q CELLS sells its products via its international sales network with branches in Germany (HQ), Malaysia, Korea, USA, Canada, Japan, and Australia. By opening an office in France, Hanwha Q CELLS launched a market offensive in promising French PV market. Thanks to its truly international setup, high quality products and the financial stability, Hanwha Q CELLS is the reliable partner for PV customers around the globe.
