Hanwha Systems Launched to Provide Total Solutions for Global Defense Electronics
The Hanwha Group acquired the remaining 50% stake in Hanwha Thales from the Thales Group – a French multinational aerospace and defense company, and renamed it to Hanwha Systems. On October 9th, Hanwha Systems held a launching ceremony and it was attended by its CEO Chang Si-kweon and 200+ employees. The event was followed by the planting of a tree and the official hanging of the signboard to commemorate the new Hanwha Systems.
Hanwha Systems, which had successfully led the nation’s first defense joint venture with the Thales Group, is committed to becoming a leader in global defense alongside the Hanwha Group’s three other defense companies, Hanwha Corporation, Hanwha Techwin, and Hanwha Defense Systems.
“The launch of Hanwha Systems represents a great opportunity for us. Let us take this opportunity to grow as a global leader in defense electronics” said CEO Chang.
