[23 October, 2011] Hanwha has signed an exclusive sponsorship contract with the renowned Italian football club Juventus FC, offering Hanwha an outlet to promote the benefits of solar to a wider European market.
Under the agreement, Hanwha will run LED advertisements at the stadium and engage in promotional events and activities such as a Sponsor Day. To celebrate the sponsorship, a match between Juventus FC and Genoa CFC was hosted, complete with various coinciding events including the ‘Hanwha Solar free kick’.
This development builds upon Hanwha’s successful sponsorship agreements with Hamburg SV of the German Bundesliga and Bolton Wanderers FC of England’s Premier League. Besides these sponsorship contracts, Hanwha also runs Hanwha Solar advertisements in the stadiums of several other leading football clubs, such as Everton FC of England, FC Barcelona of Spain, and AS Roma of Italy.
